Buyer / Adopter Quick Checklist

• Ask for recent vet records and vaccination dates.
• Request current photos or a short live video call before meeting.
• Meet in a public, neutral place or at the owner’s home — bring a friend.
• Verify microchip transfer procedures if the puppy is microchipped.
• Use a written rehoming/sale agreement that covers price, health disclosures, and return/recourse terms.
• Consider a vet check within 48–72 hours after adoption/purchase and agree on a documented return window if undisclosed health issues arise.
